Sofort Specific Notes
Sofort is not a guaranteed payment method. For example, many bank transactions are executed at night, and in the unlikely event that there are insufficient funds on the account, or the customer has canceled the transaction - the payment will not go through. This means that to you cannot be certain that a transaction is successful until you can see the payment on your bank statement.
Refunds Specific Notes
The merchant must hold an account in one of the following countries: AT, BE, CH, DE, ES, FR, GB, HU, IE, IT, NL, PL, SK (CZ is not supported).
The currency of the original transaction has to be EUR, CHF, PLN, GBP or HUF and the sender bank account (buyer) must be located in one of the following countries: AT, BE, CH, DE, ES, FR, GB, HU, IE, IT, NL, PL, SK (CZ is not supported).
The original transaction must not be older than 3 months.
The following features are not supported:
Feature | Description |

Over refund | It is not possible to refund more than the original amount. |
Surcharging | It is not possible to add a surcharge to the transaction. |
Credit | It is not possible to create credit transactions. |
Subscriptions | It is not possible to set up subscriptions. |
Reservations |
It is not possible to create a payment request with type=payment. If the type is set to payment, it is automatically changed to paymentAndCapture. |
Multiple captures | It is not possible to make multiple captures from a single reservation. |
Acquirer based reconciliation files |
The resulting payment data from calling the payments API method does not contain information in the AcquirerReconciliationIdentifier field. For information about the payments method, see payments. |
